B2D Extruder Filament Runout Sensor Mod

B2D Extruder Filament Runout Sensor Mod

I'm creating a Hypercube using yyh1002's B2D extruder, and since I wanted a filament run-out sensor, I built this. Testing hasn't happened yet, so I uploaded it to Thingiverse because I was feeling bored at work. Updates will come once I've started using it, and the first change is that too little clearance was added for the PCB. It still works if you scrape up the PCB of the endstop. The second issue is that the endstop's indicator light doesn't completely turn off when filament runs through, so using an optical endstop as a sensor may not work without some adjustments. Testing will happen once I finish my 300x300x600 hypercube. These were used: WINGONEER Optical limit switches Update: Testing has happened, and it didn't work, but if anyone succeeds, let me know. I think the problem is that the filament doesn't entirely block the sensor, no matter the position. Some ideas to fix this exist, but this project isn't a top priority for me.
