A follow up to the original release to upgrade some quality of life concerns on the blaster, which I'm calling the 1.5. The goal remains the same, in creating a blaster that repurposes the Caliburn U hardware kit and turn it into a bolt action blaster without having to purchase other specialty parts, keeping the cost as low as possible and avoiding introducing additional parts to the eco system. As of today, 7/23/23, you can find an updated stock, catch fork, sear pivot, plunger, buttplate, full compression K25 spring rest. You must reprint the plunger to make use of the new stock/catch/spring guide, but should be able to reuse your threaded rod. The buttplate will need (2) ea 1/4-20 x 1/2" screws. I hope these updated parts will resolve the catch issues folks have been having with their blaster, as well as make disassembly/maintenance much more pleasant. ***Important*** If you are CONVERTING an existing blaster, please use the +.200 PlungerStem part, if you used the +.200 Plunger from V1. Users that have already glued their plunger tube to their bolt and did NOT cut their PT down, will likely have this one installed. If you are currently BUILDING a new one, and have not yet glued your PT down, you may print the unmarked plunger stem and you may print the included bolt design- it uses Orings instead of glue, and I have found it to be more than enough to hold up to K25 spring loads without coming loose. The Orings are TIGHT, so be careful not to roll the orings while you slide the PT on to the bolt. ******* Going forward, this will be the home of the full 1.5 release, which will maintain the goal of using only the Caliburn U hardware kit, but be adjusted for features I develop as part of the 2.0 release, which will break from the hardware kit.
