B Variant- Bolt Action Caliburn Package
thingiverse
A bolt action Nerf/Foam blaster designed off the Caliburn blaster by Captain Slug. This is a large overhaul of all parts, but uses the standard hardware kit from Slug, which you can find on his Etsy page. Previous builders of Caliburns will more or less understand the assembly as it follows the basics, using the stock hardware kit. You will also need to glue the rambase and plunger tube together. I've used E6000 to working effect, though I cannot vouch for longevity at this point. Anticipate having to reglue at some point in it's life. You will also need to cut one of the priming bars to length, and drill a new, 1/4" hole for reinforcing the sear. You will also need to cut down a length of threaded rod to fit inside the ram piece. I will try to update for the exact spec for printers, but the tallest print (stock) is just under 7", while the sear should fit diagonally on most beds. I printed all parts on a Prusa mk2.5 for reference. Overall expectations for this package should be for fun. I've managed 300 FPS on a .509 barrel and K26 spring, but this may have adverse effect on the blaster. Time will tell, mileage will vary.
