Designed before inner wings are assembled to gondolas, these can be retrofitted to an assembled plane with a little patience and skill. Each wing port consists of a Mounting Ring and a Plug Plate, which are easily installed using a template and CA glue. The Install Template is screwed into the Mounting Ring, and then pressed into the wing tube with 5mm of CA glue. Once dry, it's removed and replaced by the Plug Plate. A Filler Plate is used on each outer wing to retain the XH connector and allow for easy repairs if needed. It's not glued in place. To keep it from being pulled out when the outer wing is removed, cut away the little locking tabs in the slots of the inner wing connector, and CA glue the connector into the Plug Plate. The connections to the XH base connector in the inner wings are female pins that came with the JST-XH kit. They're crimped, pressed onto the pins, soldered, then heatshrunk. The connections in the outer wings are also female pins from the XH kit as used on the back of the inner wing connector wiring. Additional connections use standard servo connectors for easy installation. Printed in PLA+, 25% infill, these templates and plug plates are designed to make your flying sessions more enjoyable with less hassle.
