The B-10 recoilless rifle is a Soviet-made 82 mm smoothbore gun. It's also known as the Bezotkatnojie orudie-10, which is the same name given to it in East Germany where it was called the RG82. This powerful weapon can be mounted on the rear of an armoured personnel carrier like the BTR-50. The B-10 was developed from an earlier model known as the SPG-82 and entered Soviet service back in 1954. By the 1960s, it had been phased out of the Soviet Army and replaced by a new weapon called the SPG-9, but it continued to be used by parachute units until at least the 1980s. Although it's now considered outdated, the B-10 was widely used during the Cold War by many countries around the world.
