The AZIZ ring light PCB, designed for a Leica microscope, has been adapted to fit my Adafruit USB microscope. You can download the PCB info from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:103216). The Adafruit USB microscope used is http://www.adafruit.com/products/636, and an optional stand is available at http://www.adafruit.com/products/969. An example image of a 0.5mm pitch BGA cross section taken with this setup is attached.
