Azadi Tower (Edited)
thingiverse
Tehran's Azadi Tower stands proudly on Azadi Square, its name a direct translation from Persian as Borj e Āzādi or "Liberty Tower." Once known simply as Shahyad Tower (Borj e Šahyād), this 33-meter-tall symbol has served Tehran as a landmark since its construction began in 1956. Originally designed by the architect Haji Habib-Allah, this massive stone monument features a circular shape at its base, a semi-circular top that seems to rise up and touch the sky, giving it a very modern yet historic feel. It represents Tehran's identity and stands guard over Azadi Square in front of one entrance point from Iran's bustling city, west of it.
