The Sky Watcher AZ GTI is a great mount that can be used in Equatorial mode with an update for the firmware from Sky watcher. When used with an equatorial wedge, at a 1 deg North latitude, the mount body clashes with the wedge. This part is inspired from https://blog.rossbrigoli.com/2021/02/az-gti-equatorial-mode-at-low-latitude.html , and is really a well designed part he's got there. Ross shifts the centre of gravity back over the tripod mount head. Meant for use with the Sky Watcher Star Adventurer Pier. This part is designed to work with standard camera tripods with a 3/8inch thread. it is tilted at a 15 degrees angle. hence it should give additional free space for fine adjustments in the alt axis. Use an appropriate length bolt to fasten the wedge to the tripod, and another to fasten the SW wedge to the printed wedge. There is no neat way to decouple the fine adjustment knobs from affecting both az and alt at the same time in this configuration.
