I absolutely love the beefy arms starter kit, so I decided to remix the arms to look like they're pointing fingers at you, similar to the Buddy Christ, Fonzie, and Joseph Ducreux meme. I've attached the files for the prints I used in the photos just in case nobody wants to tinker around with the arms. I've also attached the blender file I used to make the arms. The arms were created using Make Human: an open source program created by Manuel Bastioni that generates 3D models for use in blender. Print Settings Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer: Printrbot Simple Metal Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: Since the arms usually sit above the print surface, using supports to begin print of the elbow region is critical. You can transform/rotate the arm to make it more printer friendly. How I Designed This How I Designed the Ayyy Arms Starter Kit It begins with the Make Human/Blender plugin - once you have your model generated, you begin playing around with the skeleton of the model. Once the model is in the position you like, you simply have to delete the rest of his body. Once the body is deleted you must add spheres to where the arms can actually attach to the rest of the body. Once the spheres have been created, you export to meshmixer and begin playing around with the mesh so that there are no gaps between the sphere and the arms. You then turn the arms to solids and you have yourself an arm model :). Generated Make Human Model.
