Axoloti Enclosure with 15 pot positions
thingiverse
This is the final version of my axoloti enclosure used specifically for axoloti-core. I utilized 15 alpha pots with T18 shaft, which perfectly fits on the knob. I implemented filament swapping on the top panel and filled the back cover letters and pot mark lines with white paint. Unfortunately, Thingiverse squashed my photos for some reason, and I'm sorry about that - I couldn't figure out how to fix it. If you decide to print this design, I recommend testing the pot's knob fit first. It may be too loose or too narrow; modifying the knob.scad accordingly to fix that issue is a good idea before printing all 15 of these. I still have some issues with two of those pots being somewhat loose, which might be due to tolerances. The base was printed at 0.2 and the rest at 0.16. I used adaptive layer height on the knobs and ironing on the top panel and knobs - I didn't go 100% with the top panel, but the result is somewhat charming and nice. This project uses M3 screws for both PCB and top panel attachments. If I could change one thing about the design, I'd make the port cover ~1 mm less thick. It works as-is for me, but may pose a problem for some headphones - the headphone jack is a bit buried. Note: For some reason Thingiverse didn't accept most of my .scad files, and I will try to remember to re-upload them soon.
