Being amphibious they much prefer being underwater. They have evolved tentacle like apendeges behind their head that function somthing similar to gills on a fish to allow them to breath underwater. Over time they have developed suits which enable them to travel much faster underwater and even give them temporary flight while on land. The suits are able to suck in water or air and expel it at an alarming rate through vents on the fins and back of the suit.
