A new design for the axle of osums great trailer can be found here https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2055193:\r\n- Uses two 1150 ball bearings, D11/5x4mm like most Tamiya-Kits.\r\n- Utilizes M5 rods with a length of approximately 160mm, depending on the chosen wheels.\r\n- Features simplified brackets and shackles using M3 screws, with identical brackets for front and rear axles. Printing requirements include four brackets, four shackles, six M3x16 screws, six M3 lock nuts, and twelve M3 washers.\r\n\r\nThe goal was to create a ball-bearing run axle while utilizing leftover Tamiya wheels from a CC01 Unimog-Kit.\r\n\r\nAssembly instructions for the axle parts, from left to right: \r\nCap nut\r\nwasher\r\nwheel\r\nplastic-tamiya 1150 bearing as spacer\r\nwasher\r\nnut\r\n(Screw this assembly tight so the wheel is clamped between the cap nut and inner nut)\r\n18mm spacer tube (adjustable length depending on wheels)*\r\n1150 ball bearing (pressed into leafs bearing housing from outside)\r\n90mm spacer tube (press from inside into leaf bearing housing)\r\nComplete the other side similarly - ready!\r\nBy tightening M3 hinge screws, you can adjust a bit of friction dampening for the suspension.\r\n\r\n*The spacer tube can be adjusted to the required length in your slicer.\r\n\r\nThis setup is simpler than it seems.\r\nIf further explanations are needed, send a message or start a comment.\r\n\r\nParts shown include "License plate Trailer" and "Tail Light Trailer".
