My son's bike had extended axles protruding from the sides of the rear wheel, perfect for attaching training wheels - but when those training wheels are unnecessary, they have a nasty habit of inflicting deep cuts. So, I designed these minimalist axle caps to alleviate that problem. Instructions: I 3D printed these at 15% infill using ABS, laying them flat-side down on the printer bed. Depending on how vigorously your kids treat their bikes, you may need to crank up the print density to ensure durability. Print, secure firmly onto the axles, align the nut groove with the axle nuts, and tap it into place with a rubber mallet.
