Axis calibration

Axis calibration

thingiverse

This is a calibration test for all printers. Thus, you can adjust your printer's parameters. Advantages of this new model are : ✅ printing is faster ✅ it requires less plastics than the calibration cube. ➡ Here are the measurements of the axis: X : 40 mm Y : 40 mm Z : 20 mm After printing, you can do the following calculations : d = desired measure (x = 40 mm; y = 40 mm; z = 20 mm) a = axis measurement s = actual step value ➡ New step value = d / a * s Example: d = 40 mm a = 39.8 mm s = 100.00 40 / 39.8 * 100.00 = ~100.50 Now, print it ! ➡ Update: There is a new model that avoid the 'rounded corner' problem.
