Update 03/22/17: Upgraded to 3.10 version with some tweaks to clearances around transmission. Update 03/16/17: Uploaded reworked design, making clearance adjustments around link mounts and lowering transmission mount into skid for increased interior clearance. Other cutouts were made for motor and transmission parts due to this change. Note that stock links will still require dremeling, sanding, or filing out link slots to fit, as they're designed for Revo style ball ends which are narrower than Axial. Update 02/16/17: Finally attempted installation, discovering some lower link clearance issues with the design as-is. A few cuts need to be made to resolve this, but I'm unsure when I can accomplish this and will update it when possible. This is my first public design, and feedback is greatly appreciated. The Axial Wraith rock crawler design features a flat belly for about 7mm more ground clearance and includes an upper link riser option. The lower upper link mounting position keeps stock geometry, while the upper upper link mounting position gives a bit of link rise and maintains pinion angle. Link slots are designed for Revo rod ends with thinner balls than Axial rod ends. If using Axial rod ends, you may need to file down the lower link slots slightly. The uppers should still work due to some flex. I highly recommend running an M3 tap through all holes before screwing in parts to prevent tearing. Some potential issues I foresee with this design include: 1) Overall strength. 2) Upper link mounts being a weak point. 3) Upper link mounts possibly interfering with spur gear cover on transmission. 4) Possible link vertical geometry change. 5) Potential drive shaft clearance issue on the skid, especially for lifted vehicles. 6) Transmission moved up by 1.2mm, which could cause interior issues and slightly increase center of gravity. 7) Incorrect measurement leading to something not lining up. This design has not been tested, only printed to ensure printability with some tweaks made. I won't be able to install it on a vehicle for some time, but I'd love feedback on clearance issues. If everything clears nicely, I could add material to the upper link mounts, and if there are no issues, I'd like to tweak the transmission mounting point to get the transmission and motor to sit lower.
