Axial SCX24 Toyota Stye Beadlock Wheels
thingiverse
I recently created another remix of kman250's excellent Method V2 wheel design for the Axial SCX24 to convert them into a Toyota-style beadlock wheel. At the time of posting these files, I am unable to test tire fitment as I do not have any spares and anyone with an SCX24 knows they are very hard to get hold of unfortunately. Now I know the wheel is absolutely fine, but The only part I don't know about is the beadlock ring. Not having any tires to test it with, I don't know if I left enough gap for the bead. I would suggest printing 1 ring to test and if it's too tight to mount, reduce the width of the ring in your slicer to get the right gap. Printing wise on the wheel itself, I just used support. No brim or raft and on the test print in the pics, I used a 0.2 layer height. Personally for a final print, I'd go finer than that to get a better result. The beadlock ring I suggest either a brim or raft and support as there is very little area actually on the bed. The wheels mount with 4 x M2 x 6mm screws per wheel. Update: I've now added a Vented set of wheels, basically got a 2.5mm hole in each wheel and ring, and a recessed channel on both, also it's bang in the middle of the wheel so doesn't matter which way round the ring goes on.
