Axial SCX24 C10 Light Bar for Neopixel Stick

This is an RGBW light bar for the SCX24 C10 that uses the stock mount and replaces the light buckets, based on some Neopixel sticks I had lying around. Turn your truck into fire, police, or use it as an actual light. Each of the 8 (neo)pixels are individually programmable, for flashing patterns or variable brightness. Note: the Neopixel sticks need a software controller in addition to the SCX24's AE-6 ESC/RX combo. I used a Seeeduino XIAO, which can be easily tucked into the cab of the truck. Most M0/M4 arduinos running at 48MHz or better should work. Hardware: - 1x Neopixel stick: https://www.adafruit.com/product/2868 - 1x Seeeduino XIAO: https://www.seeedstudio.com/Seeeduino-XIAO-Arduino-Microcontroller-SAMD21-Cortex-M0+-p-4426.html or https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Seeed-Studio/102010328?qs=GBLSl2AkirtQWO8CTzEK9g%3D%3D - 2x m2 12mm screws - 2x m2 nuts - 2x m1.4 10mm screws (the original mounting screws will work, longer ones may work better) Assembly: - solder leads onto the Neopixel stick for power and data - thread m2 screws through front, then Neopixel PCB, then back - route wires through gap in bottom of light bar - close light bar tightly with m2 nuts, being careful not to crimp the wires - open the truck - remove the 4 screws holding the light bar mount - remove the 2 screws holding the light buckets onto the mount - screw the new light bar onto the mount - replace the light bar mount on the truck body - optionally: punch a hole through the back of the cab to route the wires - connect Neopixel power to ESC - connect XIAO power to ESC - connect Neopixel data to XIAO Another note: The Neopixel stick has two ground pins. If you are powering the lights and XIAO from a single battery/ESC, these can be connected together.
