Axial SCX-10-III Transmission shifter servo Arm
thingiverse
This is a servo arm for Axial SCX-10-3 kit. This goes on top of the standard arm of a micro servo to adapt it to the slot style arm needed for shifting the dig or 2-speed portions of the transmission. The Axial kit comes with the servo saver style arm but does not come with the splined base for attaching to the servo. To get that you need to buy Horizon hobby servos which come with the adapter. This arm will attach to the x-shaped horn on a Tower-pro micro servo using 4 00-90 screws. It should work with any micro servo though you may need to drill holes on the stock servo horn if they are not spaced the same. Metric 1.2mm screws should also work but I happened to have the tiny imperial screws on hand from another project. Larger hardware could be used but I didn't want to drill the servo horn holes out as the arms are fairly small to begin with. The center screw is an m2x8 and attaches the horn assembly to the servo. Please post a make or comments if you print and install these to let me know how they work for you. I added a thicker arm for better reach, and added a few pics of the arms installed. They function well enough to consistently hit neutral on the dig servo so can have 4wd, rear disconnected to free spin, and rear locked, same as the Axial Capra.
