Axial Gladiator SCXIII Battery Relocation Mount
thingiverse
This will replace the stock rear battery tray location on your SCXiii. You will need to unscrew the stock rear battery tray from the chassis. Then cut out the stock mounts with some sort of cutters. The stock battery tray mount limits the uptravel of the rear axle, this can easily be seen by cycling the suspension upwards with the battery tray removed. Cut those stock mounts out and now the suspension will bottom out on the shocks and axle touching the frame (as it should). This mod will give you more uptravel and articulation. You shouldn't have to remove any of the rear links or suspension components to install. Might have to shimmy it in a bit to get it to fit between the frame rail channels. Printing in a little more flexible material like PETG or Nylon might be the best move (I plan on doing so myself). You will need 4 3mm screws to bolt the new battery mount bracket to the frame. See pictures for location of where to mount. I used extra lug nut screws from my beadlocks. Design also moves battery as far forward and low as possible for a centered weight distribution. More so than the stock rear location and the side mount that causes the truck to sag on the left side.
