I needed backlights for my Capra, so designed and 3D-printed these. To power them, you'll need two 5mm red LEDs and some M2 screws to secure the cover plate. The wires can exit from the bottom, and I cut a small notch in the rear of the fake fuel cell on my Capra for tidy wiring. Since friction seems sufficient, I didn't use glue to hold it in place, although a bit could be used if needed. I smoothed out the LEDs with 600-grit wet/dry sandpaper, giving them a matte finish and reducing their beam focus. Inside, I used hot glue to secure the LEDs and wiring. I printed using one perimeter layer. The finished product isn't too heavy, and I think it looks fantastic - especially when paired with headlights! The Capra is already a very capable model, and it definitely deserves some rear lights!
