Axial Bomber skid for Wraith transmission V3

This is a flat skid plate for the Axial Bomber RR10, to adapt a Wraith or other similar 3 gear style trans to the Bomber. I designed this new version of my skid plate to use aluminum (or carbon) side plates for the upper link mounts instead of the fully printed skid like my previous versions. The files labeled "Ryft" are for Bombers running Ryft axles. The other files are for the standard AR60 axles. The only difference is the angle of the trailing arm mounts to accommodate the wider link mounts on the Ryft axle. This is designed to use .090" (2.25mm) thick material for the side plates. I used 6061 aluminum for the one I made. The side template is to be transferred to the material you choose. These can be drilled for multiple mounting options so I included 3 different versions you can pick from (LCG, Flat, or Multi). For chassis mounting, I used these press-in inserts from mcmaster-carr which you can see in one of the pictures. https://www.mcmaster.com/94100A110/ . You could drill/tap the mounting holes, but I'm not sure they will hold up long term on the thin material. LCG hangs 7mm below the chassis. Flat is almost flush with the chassis (1mm below). The combination of the Multi template, and Flat skid will allow mounting either Flat or LCG orientation. The included pictures show an LCG install.
