This object is a rough-hewn axehead, boasting asymmetrical faces that gently curve into an equally asymmetrical edge. A rounded butt completes the design, as the sides smoothly merge into the blade. The edge itself appears worn from extensive water exposure, its blunt surface smooth to the touch. Nodular weathering and exfoliation patterns are clearly visible on both faces of the axehead, hinting at a history of prolonged outdoor use.
