Axe Hatchet Low-poly 3D model
cgtrader
This 3D model of a simple axe, also referred to as a hatchet, comes with production-ready PBR materials, textures, and non-overlapping UV layout map. Created in Blender 3D 2.79 using Cycles and 3D Studio MAX 2019 with V-Ray Next 4.02.04 materials, it features quads only geometries (no tris/ngons) with no poles. The model is easily customizable as it has been UV unwrapped, allowing you to create new textures or modify existing ones using the provided UV layout maps (in PNG format with alpha). Each object, material, or texture in the package features a unique and meaningful name. The package includes promo images showcasing the axe rendered in Cycles (Blender 3D 2.79) and V-Ray Next 4.02.04 (3DS MAX 2019). The formats included are 3DS, FBX, and OBJ, with scenes provided for both Blender 3D (2.79 with Cycles materials) and 3D Studio MAX 2019 (V-Ray Next 4.02.04 materials). The model consists of one object, one PBR material, and features a non-overlapping UV layout map provided in the package. UV-mapped textures have resolutions of 2048x2048, and PBR Textures were made with Substance Painter 2. The model is polygonal, featuring quad only geometries (no tris/ngons) with no poles. It has real-world dimensions, with scene scale units in meters for Blender 3D and centimeters for MAX. The object is uniformly scaled (scale applied in Blender 3D, 100% scale in 3DS MAX), and textures are stripped in the 3DS MAX scene. Additionally, a PBR Multi-Engine Textures Pack is included with textures sets for various rendering engines and game engines. To use the model, simply drag-and-drop the fbx/obj file along with the desired textures set into your 3D modeling software or game engine and link them together to create a game or production-ready asset. Note that the main renderings were made using 3D Studio MAX 2019 (V-Ray Next 4.02.04 materials) and Blender 3D 2.79 + Cycles, with an HDR Environment Texture Image not included in the package.
