Every time I need to order wire, I have to research on multiple charts to get the right gauge wire because I simply can't grasp the AWG system - it's counterintuitive. Normal thinking dictates that a larger number should correspond to a bigger size, but in reality, it's the opposite. A more suitable name for this system would be Awfully Wrong Geometry. This chart is not 100% accurate due to the way printers print and no two printers are calibrated identically. However, it will provide you with a general gauge that meets your requirements. To get the closest standard available wire, simply select the one that matches. If you want absolute accuracy, you can increase X and Y to match your printer's level of precision.
