This name plate design rocks, and I'm pretty proud of it. It's actually an effortless project once you've got the hang of it - just make sure to read through these instructions carefully so you don't get stuck. Key Features: Editable 123dDesign File Included It looks killer! Uses Electrical Conduit Pipe (super affordable) 1/2 inch Easy to adapt for copper pipe too! Instructions: First, print the connectors Then edit the nameplate file with your name You can use any design program you like - the name plate dimensions are 40mm x 280mm x 2mm Check the length on the name plate default is 280 mm Cut your pipe lengths about 20mm longer than the name plate Put it all together and finish with the end caps Tips & Tricks: Get yourself a pipe cutter - they're cheap, around 9 bucks, and you can use them for any project. Pipe cutters are small tools that clamp down then rotate around the pipe - totally awesome! The way I did this nameplate is by printing it in white, spraying it flat black, and then sanding off the paint with a sanding block. I'll post a picture of mine when I get a chance - it's currently on my desk at work and it looks fantastic! Let me know if you have any questions; the best place to catch up with me is on the free forum on CommandoDesigns.com Thanks for the feedback, guys - Tony D.
