Awesome customizable fret board guard

A fret board guard to use when polishing frets on your guitar, bass or any other fretted string instrument. It can be used with rubber bands to be kept in place or hand held. The idea is to enter max width of fret board (default 63 mm), height of a fret (default 1.1 mm) and the fret width (default 2.6 mm) and then a fret guard with half the fret height is made. An stl-file with the default settings is included. Print Settings Printer: Tronxy PM802 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% How I Designed This Idea I got the idea to do this from the linked youtube video (fast forward to 9:00). My first designs had like fasteners for rubberbands on them but i quickly realized that the thin guard bent too much so I made lots of room for finger hold instead. It is still possible to use with rubberband even without the dedicated rubberband fasteners. Category: Music
