Solar Filter Holder for AWB OneSky Telescope. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain the high-quality solar filter film, so I'm forced to use several layers of space blanket mylar instead. This holder, however, is designed to work with any type of solar film. The simplest way to install the film is to lay down the cover piece with its ridge facing upwards, then place the solar film on top and finally press the body, also with its ridge up, into the cover. Next, trim the excess film and apply a small amount of glue if necessary to keep everything secure. The interference fit should provide enough hold, but a bit of extra support never hurts. The ridge of the body should easily slide into the hole at the top of the scope.
