Away Suitcase Compression Pad Rod Connector
thingiverse
The rod for my Away suitcase's compression pad snapped so I needed a way to fix it. I tried tape and glue but that wasn't enough because the rod goes through a lot of stress as it's bent. So I made a quick tube in CAD that would connect the two ends of the broken rod. I was able to print this without a brim, but you may need one depending on your bed adhesion. The inner wall is meant to be a tight fit, so it will take some force to get in there, but once it's in, the friction will keep it in place.
