Award for crash
thingiverse
I created this project as a result of experiencing a setback at work. As a CNC machinist, I had to modify the file to exclude the bottom sections, which were not included in this version. The printout was done using ABS 230 filament on a 4-layer setup with an 110-degree bed temperature. Unfortunately, my print warped slightly on the corners, but I'm pleased that it turned out as a fun keepsake for my workplace. Furthermore, I designed the tool holder at an angle to reflect the incident where the crash caused the turret block to rip off due to its angled position. To ensure stability during printing, I utilized supports generated by Simplify 3D and added a few extra around the cylindrical sections.
