AW3D v5.5 Dial Fan Holder
thingiverse
Airwolf3D v5.5 was my trusty first 3D printer and, believe it or not, it didn't come equipped with fans on its extruder head. No problem! I crafted this solution to tackle that pesky issue. This holder comes with two adaptable mounts - one fits the older hot end while the other accommodates the sleek quick-change design (the new kid on the block). The only variation is in height, so no worries there! Post Scriptum: A slight adjustment to the title; it's essentially a Dual Fan Holder (simple yet accurate). **Quick and Easy Installation** It holds not one, but two silent behemoths - Noctua NF-A4x10 fans. On top of that, there's a thoughtful cover for added protection and convenience. My gut tells me that any standard 40mm fan with a thickness of around 10mm should fit snugly in place. To make the magic happen, you'll need to attach this bad boy to your extruder head using good old M3X20mm flathead screws. Easy peasy! As for power, I've got you covered - one DC9V 1A AC adapter will be more than sufficient for your new setup. Don't forget those crucial plastic ties that keep everything neatly organized. With the mounts secured beneath the extruder head's socket screws on the X-axis carriages, you'll have seamless access to tweaking and adjusting your hotend with precision. Smooth sailing!
