AW Custom Hi Capa - Iron Sights for Airsoft
thingiverse
I didn't care for the iron sights on my AW Custom Hi Capa, they were a letdown. That's why I took matters into my own hands and designed these sights that can be adjusted left or right. To install them, you'll need one M3 screw with a 4.5mm thread length, an M3 screw with a 6mm thread length, an M3 threaded insert, and a single M2.6 screw with a 6mm thread length. Keep in mind that the thread length isn't always the full length of the screw - it can vary depending on the type of head. Measure carefully to avoid going too deep and hitting your nozzle, which would be a disaster. The Base Version 2 was designed specifically for my own use because I only had M3*7 screws with cylindrical heads. This version allows you to sink the screw into the 3D printed part, making it more secure. I'm still working on this project, so stay tuned for updates and new features in the future. A picatinny adapter is already on my to-do list, which will enable micro red dots for even more precise shooting.
