This is my latest holder to hold an avocado seed to grow in a glass, it is self-watering by means of a soda bottle that fits into the holder spot. The avocado seed fits into the holder spot. 1. You place the avocado seed into its spot with the fat side (which is the bottom) down. 2. You fill the glass with water. 3. You fill the soda bottle with water 4. Quickly turn the full soda bottle upside down and into its holder spot. Done... It will be messy, so do this in a sink. As the water in the glass gets used, more water will take its place from the soda bottle. Stopping when the water level gets to the opening in the soda bottle. No supports needed.
