My wife introduced me to an avocado boat design she discovered online and asked me to print it for her. The original design lacked the playful, exaggerated curves I envisioned a toy boat should possess, and I was inexperienced with the 3D curves necessary for hull shapes, so I decided to create my own version. The stern support could be utilized as either a tiller or a toothpick/cocktail flag. My design does not require supports; however, the lower slope of the bow would benefit from additional structural reinforcement. I possess a dual extrusion printer and successfully printed the hull in blue silk PLA while using silver PLA for the gunnel. The uploaded version is a single piece. If you own two extruders, please message me to receive the separate hull and gunnel files. Enjoy!
