Simply place the boat on water and grow your own avocado house plant without worrying about water levels. It takes around 4 to 8 weeks for the pit to split open and start growing roots after you put the boat with the pit in the water. This timeframe may vary depending on your specific situation. The Avocado Boat is designed to fit an avocado pit/seed up to 40mm in size, leaving some space for the seed to split open. If you have a larger seed, simply scale up the model or ask me for assistance! My design is licensed under the Creative Commons - Attribution - Non-Commercial license, which means you can use it for personal purposes but not for commercial gain. Update: As of November 15th, 2017, I've made some changes to the design due to issues with sales on online marketplaces like Ebay and Etsy.
