I spent an hour snapping photos and processing them, which was just the beginning of a longer process. The texture and mesh were still rough around the edges, in need of significant improvement. Noise and artifacts from the scanning equipment marred the mesh, but I managed to fix it decently enough. The baked textures looked off in some areas, probably due to my decision to use only one light source and miss a few crucial shots. This wasn't meant to be a flawless model, though - I was mainly trying to set up my workflow. What a fantastic learning experience that turned out to be! As for this particular model, it's undergone very little post-processing beyond simplifying the mesh and compressing the textures.
