AVLB MLC60 Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge (M60)

This model is provided/designed at 1:10 scale, with robust detail for printing at small scales. With this set of files you get many different options, at a variety of scales. The bridge has been modelled at 1:10 scale, allowing for very fine detail when printed at scales from 1:35 or smaller. At very small scale, thin components will be very delicate. Where possible, the model has been designed from manuals, and from detailed walkaround photos. I have been as accurate as I can be, I have also made design decisions to thicken up some components for durability when printing. The “AVLB for small scale printing” has a solid filler added under each main beam (see photos), and supporting elements provided under the articulation mechanism in the centre of the bridge. The two halves for articulation (home bank and far bank) are designed with open pin holes, such that you could pin the hinges for careful folding of the two scissor halves of the bridge. The cables are omitted from the two half bridge sections. Test printed in resin (anycubic photon mono, grey standard) and pre-supported in 1:56, 1:100, 1:150(ish) and 1:200. Pre-supported resin print files are provided, but feel free to support your own model in your printer. I make no guarantees for the presupported models. They worked for my test printing, I suggest you detail your own supports to suit your printer and settings.
