The Aerial Battle Game: Outmaneuvering Enemies. Aerial Combat is waged on a grid-shaped board, divided into 49 squares, with each of two opponents having 42 game pieces at their disposal. Among these, thirty-two are aircraft, encompassing squadrons of single-seat fighter planes (such as Spitfires) to reconnaissance Lysanders and airships. The remaining ten pieces comprise barrage balloons, searchlights, and anti-aircraft artillery systems.
