The original artwork, crafted for an art contest that earned third place, was never fully completed due to the constraints of deadlines. I chose Piranha Games' MechWarrior Online aesthetic as my foundation and infused it with my unique style and innovative twists. Given that the Avatar had undergone numerous transformations throughout its history, I felt this approach was fitting. In BattleTech lore, the Avatar is a 70-ton Inner Sphere OmniMech, inspired by captured Vulture / Mad Dog Clan OmniMechs following the Battle of Luthien. Initially manufactured by Luthien Armor Works, the AV1-O variant boasts an assortment of weapons that enable it to excel in various roles. The AV1-O is equipped with two hardwired Victory 23R Medium Lasers housed within the Center Torso, two LRM-10 mounted on each Side Torso and coupled with Artemix IV FCS, a LBX- Autocannon/10 situated on the Right Arm, two Medium Pulse Lasers attached to the Left Arm, and all backed by two Machine Guns for Anti-Infantry capabilities. Powering this formidable machine is a Hermes 280 Extralight Fusion Engine, allowing it to reach a top speed of 64.8 km/h. Designed using Google SketchUp.
