To AVA, from Uncle Les. AVA's Gear Toys 1, 2, 2b and 4 Receive Warm Welcome, Spark Idea for Robotic Version. The Thingiverse community has warmly welcomed my earlier creations of the Gear Toys 1, 2, 2b, and 4. I decided to build a robotic version of this classic planetary gear set, making it interactive and fun. Files are now printed and tested working successfully. My robotic version is designed as a rotating base for learning purposes and simple robots. Users can convert it into a "MaracaBot" that makes sounds when spun back and forth in rhythmic motion. Next project involves creating a feeder robot to assist disabled individuals. To assemble this robot, print the file "gear_planet.stl" four times for the bearings. Then, print all other STL files only once. The assembly process is straightforward and easy to follow.
