This is a Copy of the foldable AV-2040 MilSat Antenna for 280-400MHz Radio, I don´t really know if it works, because i am still in construction process.. But this is my Main Project at this time and i am working on it constantly. for everybody who like to work on it, too i am publishing the whole 3D model. some parts of the antenna are not printable (of course, because they must be made from metal) metal parts needed: 0,8mm alumnium plates for the Wings, 58mm wide (length depends on frequency). i construct forming tools, to bend the plate in a the right shape (Bench needed) A 20mm aluminium pipe for the midldle pole 10mm and 12mm aluminium pipe (the one fit into the other) for the Reflector poles. 8mm and10mm alumnium pipe for director some aluminium U-Profile for the Wings-hinges a 75mm aluminium or PVC/HT-Pipe for the Base case. springs, screws, wire of course. Every Ham License owner should be able to build everything together. i will update everything when i progress. changes: - add the locking ring to keep the Wings in folded/closed postion - modified Head - modified reflector rod mount - add director parts
