This accessory works alongside Meade telescope field tripod model 884, which is typically utilized for ETX model telescopes. It allows you to place the Autostar computer handbox in a convenient location. To attach it, simply clip onto the top of the tripod leg where the tube meets the upper bracket. A small zip tie slot is available if you desire added security; however, you may need two or more to fully fit around the tripod leg. The piece isn't structural and features multiple holes to minimize plastic usage and printing time. To print, download, and use 3mm ABS filament with a layer height of .35mm. Trimming along the interior slots on the half cylinder might be necessary, but supports aren't required, and there are no deformation issues during printing.
