Autonomous Weather Station

Autonomous Weather Station

thingiverse

This is the most ambitious project of 2019. It relies on two 28BYJ-48 stepper motors to orient solar panels with precision. The panels supply current to a 18650 LiPo-battery, which powers two circuits containing a range of sensors: photoresistors for automatic orientation, temperature & humidity DHT11 modules, and air pressure BMP280 modules, in addition to reading the voltage of the battery and panels on analog pins. This information is then wirelessly transmitted to the base station. Given its complexity, this print requires additional circuitry to function effectively.
