This project aims to revolutionize apartment living by integrating a self-sustaining system that provides fresh water, food, and fish while treating waste. The apartment layout replaces traditional kitchens and bathrooms with combined kitchen and bathroom units. The key features of the design include plant islands, an integrated small kitchen, a methane gas reactor, and an integrated WC with bath tub. The plant islands produce oxygen, heat, fish, fruit, and vegetables while purifying water using plants that use fish droppings as fertilizer. The compact kitchen is fully functional for daily household tasks and includes a small washing machine connected to the water filters and methane reactor. To maintain the system's biological equilibrium, only simple detergents can be used in the water supply. The methane gas reactor processes organic waste and has seven exchangeable chambers. The combined bath and WC offers a seat bath, shower, and is designed for closed-door use during bathing to prevent water overflow. This innovative system aims to optimize living space usage, reduce dependency on external food, water, and power supplies, and ultimately increase fresh water, electricity, and food availability. Future development includes autonomous robot control for optimal management and operation of the plant islands and connected areas.
