Automatically collapsible helmet design

Printed and working: https://youtu.be/xRO5zx7JItM ------ Check out Ollie's design of "Lost In Space" inspired helmet: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4840980/ And his video https://youtu.be/UgTxwDmbvMo ------- File here is a f3d for Fusion360. Each segment is splitted into different parts with alignment bits for printing with less deformations and stuff. The design could use some improvements, holes for motor wires and pulleys, they were hand drilled after printing. Also some tweaks here and there... But i was satisfied with what i had and currently i'm not planning on working on this particular design any further. So i decided that i need more experience in collapsible mechanics before diving into more complicated designs. I showed a 3d model of this prototype to a friend of mine and he said that it looked like a Daft Punk helmet. Once again, i'm after mechanics, not aesthetics. And i'm mostly satisfied. It uses two motors and a fishing line to both open and close the helmet. I'll call it a seashell design. The printer i use gives good enough accuracy to make reasonable tolerances, but sanding was still involved. As it turned out, it also looks like a foldable helmet from "Lost in Space" which actually was not an inspiration for my design.
