My feline companion loves to roam freely around the garden. But with winter looming, I need to draw the line at keeping my window wide open, giving the cat an easy way in or out - temperatures just don't warrant it! Instead, I designed a nifty system that lets my cat trigger a automated window opener when she's on the windowsill outside, allowing her a little taste of fresh air and sunlight.
