AUTOMATIC TEA MACHINE - Plate, modified servo case and modified code for ESP8266
thingiverse
The author of the original automatic tea machine does not allow remixes so I post this as a thing and I refer to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5211902. I created a plate for the case for closing the bottom. I also splitted the servo case into 2 parts that can be printed without support and can be glued together after printing. It's easier to get the servo cable into the case, too. I also rewrote the arduino code to work with the more current library for the TM1637 fom bremme, SevenSegmentTM1637.h This also works on a NodeMCU Esp8266, which opens up a lot of possibilities to get the tea timer interactive via web ui, or send a message when tea is ready etc. Code available at Github: mhilcher/esp8266_tea_timer Original code and wiring available at https://create.arduino.cc/projecthub/cstram/arduino-tea-bag-timer-b39aed Changes in wiring: I used pins D2, D3 and D4 instead of D9, D2 and D3. I used 3,3 Volts for the TM1637.
