The cute elephant design was found at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:843713 Tiny trunks - by unknownhand May 22, 2015 I wanted a bit more resolution, so I used blender sculpting tools after remeshing. And I added a bit more volume in places where the tubing had to be routed to prevent holes. And it is no longer a cup. I did not create space for the on/off switch, as I was planning on just keeping that hidden below the sink. But I ended up mounting a push button on the back of the printed model, out of view. The kind of dispenser I used: https://www.simplehuman.com/products/rechargeable-sensor-pump-9-fl-oz To disassemble, I used a dremel to cut the metal sleeve, but looking back, I think you can twist the plastic top and bottom to separate inner plastic container and top piece. For the eyes, I used optical fiber to create a lightpipe that guides the light from the LED to the eyes. The mounting under cabinet is a super simple plate with shapes to let the pump and battery rest into, and secure them with tie wraps. You can insert a but of foam material between the pup and backplate to cut down on noise more. I used clear vinyl tubing that is joined to the silicone pump tubing with shrink tubing to get an airtight seal. And for mechanical strength, you can slide a large piece of tubing over the joint. Some vaseline helps to slide that in place. Good luck with your projects!
