Automatic Rabbit & Small Animal Feeder

This is a multi-section, 3D printed feeder specifically designed for rabbits and other small animals. The feeder consists of a lower bowl section and upper hopper sections, with an optional lid that can be used depending on your needs. You can choose to use just one hopper or multiple hoppers, such as two or three, if you have more space available. I selected clear PET filament for this project because it allows the level of feed left in the hopper sections to be easily visible and is also food safe. Although rabbits are primarily meant to eat hay, this feeder is useful for occasions when an animal needs to be left alone for two or three days. The feeder prints well without supports, but you may encounter some slight bowing on the internal slope section with certain plastics, which will still allow it to function properly. I added a beveled lip to the bowl section to minimize feed spillage as the animals eat. Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 22% Honeycomb Notes: The feeder prints okay without supports, but you may get some slight sagging on the large slope section. I haven't printed the optional lid yet, but it should fit well.
