Automatic Plant / Display Rotator

This rotator uses a small stepper motor to rotate your plant for even growth. You can also use it as a display to rotate anything you are trying to present, perhaps jewelry in a window display. This is currently a work in progress, so you would need to add your own motor, electronics, etc. Instructions I used a small 5V DC stepper motor I got from ebay (see photo attachment) with an already built driver board (yes I am lazy). I built up the circuitry with an ATMEGA328 (yes overkill, but what I had) to drive the stepper speed. Mine has a DC jack so I can plug in an AC adapter anywhere from 6 to 12V and run it. I plan to run the prototype in my window rotating my kid's Chiapet running off of a solar panel. Would like to add a speed control POT before I finish it so you can adjust the rotation speed from super slow to slow. Category: Gadgets
