Automatic Pet Feeder
thingiverse
This is an automatic catfood feeder that I designed. The bottom section houses the electronics while the top section rotates with the food. To build this you will need an Arduino nano or equivalent microcontroller, a 28BYJ-48 5V stepper motor, and a stepper motor driver. This project uses the ULN2003APG breakout board commonly sold with the stepper. For printing, the cap can be printed twice for the top and bottom to produce a cleaner look. The divider section should be superglued to the wall ring and the plugs can be glued in after putting the stepper motor in place. Currently, each of the eight sections can hold roughly 1/12th of a cup of dry food. This can be increased by making the top section taller. If you want a taller model message me.
